Catering Along the Malibu Coast
Malibu stretches along the Pacific Coast Highway, with homes and venues tucked between the ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains. Weddings, anniversary dinners and private parties here often take place at houses with ocean views or on bluffs near Point Dume and Zuma. Guests come for the setting, so the food should suit it: fresh seafood, bright salads, grilled proteins and produce-forward plates that look good in daylight. We plan menus that hold up in sea air and afternoon sun, and we bring staff when the host wants plated or passed service.
Logistics shape every Malibu event. PCH is the main route in and out, traffic can back up without warning, and many homes are reached by narrow canyon roads or steep private drives. Parking at private residences is often limited, so we plan where vans can stop, how far staff will carry equipment, and whether a smaller vehicle should handle the last stretch. We leave earlier than the map suggests. Coastal venues also tend to have their own rules on vendors, load-in times and cleanup, so we ask for them early.

Can you reach a home up a canyon road off PCH?
Yes, with some planning. Send the address and describe the drive, including gates, grade and turnaround space. If larger vehicles cannot make it, we use a smaller vehicle or set a staging spot and shuttle food from there.
Can you cater an event on a Malibu beach?
Beach events usually depend on permits and access, which vary by beach and agency. Check with the City of Malibu or the agency that manages the beach about what is allowed. Once you have the go-ahead, we plan food that can be carried from the nearest road.
Do you cater for treatment and wellness centers?
