The roads are the main planning challenge. Topanga Canyon Boulevard winds, side streets are narrow and often lack shoulders, and many properties have steep or unpaved drives with little room to turn around. We ask about all of that in advance. Sometimes the right plan is a smaller vehicle, a staging point at the bottom of a drive or extra hands to carry food up a path. Cell service can be spotty in parts of the canyon, so we confirm the address and an on-site contact before we leave.

Can your vans get up our canyon driveway?
Tell us about the drive: grade, surface, gate and turnaround space. If a full-size vehicle cannot make it safely, we use a smaller vehicle or set a staging spot on the main road and carry food up from there.
Can we hold a catered picnic in Topanga State Park?
Rules for group gatherings and food in state parks vary, and some areas need permits. Check with California State Parks about your plans before booking. We can then plan food that is easy to carry in.
What if there is no kitchen on site?
That is common in the canyon. We arrive with food ready to serve, chafers for hot dishes and everything needed to set a buffet on folding tables. If you want plated service, we bring a small prep setup.
